Years of water leaks had left this sunroom all but unusable — a forgotten corner of the house rather than a room anyone wanted to spend time in. It has since been rebuilt from the ground up, transformed into an open, functional kitchen and living area that finally does justice to its bushland outlook. A provincial-style kitchen anchors the room, its white shaker cabinetry and Statuario-veined stone island bringing a timeless, traditional character. A mint-green subway tile splashback adds a soft note of colour, while brushed nickel hardware and classic pendant lighting round out the considered material palette. A walk-in pantry sits just off the kitchen, offering flexible, functional storage tucked neatly out of sight. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the space, drawing in the surrounding greenery and flooding the room with natural light throughout the day. What was once a source of frustration is now the most-used room in the house. Bright, practical, and built to last.
