Originally a modest two-bedroom cottage, this project reimagined the home from the ground up. Walls reconfigured, spaces reworked, and every surface renewed through a complete internal refurbishment. A warm, tactile material palette runs throughout: oak joinery, veined marble, and antique brass fittings sit alongside travertine tiles, bringing texture and softness to every room. The kitchen anchors the home, its sculptural marble island and full-height oak cabinetry striking a balance between everyday practicality and quiet luxury. The bathroom continues this language with brushed brass tapware, a sculptural concrete basin, and warm stone tiling, creating a calm, restrained retreat. The result is a thoughtful, family-focused home - one that keeps the spirit of the original cottage while opening it up to space, light, and a material richness that feels both liveable and refined.
